{PARTY} Chicago Cubs Theme

This baseball themed birthday is The World Series of Parties! With the wedding planning expertise of the birthday boy's Mom and the beautiful imagery captured by Kristen Weaver Photography it's no wonder it's a home run.
I'm going to let Kristen (the Mom) tell you about the rest::::
The entire idea/concept started with some very fun invitations I found on Etsy. I absolutely adore the invitations and they allowed me to customize them anyway I wanted.
I am all about the deal but started planning early. I am one of those Mom’s who Boo Whoos over every milestone but when it came to planning a party- I was able to suck it up and manage. My husband, Mathew, LOVEs the cubs- my son’s room is entirely Cubs themed. I am going to laugh so hard when he chooses band over sports!!!! –He hates when I say that!!!
Being a Wedding Planner myself-  I had a GREAT time getting ready for this party, making all of the DIY crafts, the many trips for ribbon to Michaels- adding this and that with the Hubbs shaking his head no ever so stern behind me. We All even dressed in like clothing to make for great family photos. From the outfits to what people ate we were wanting to make sure that everyone who came knew the love we not only had for our son but for all of them. Each and every single person who came are people who we depend on and we would not be able to be where we are today without each and every one of them.
We adore our son and can’t imagine life without him. We had trouble conceiving and had to go down the fertilization treatment route. WE were very fortunate and were pregnant with Luke 11 months later! What a blessing he is to have!!! Luke is certainly all boy- loves his two “sisters” (2 dogs) and being outside. And although I am asked on a regular basis if he is mine (he is a carbon copy of his father) I am a proud Mom and was overjoyed and honored to plan his very first birthday.
We hope you enjoy this party as much as we did...Happy Friday!

  1. Every situation calls for a game. This is a fantastic way to bring the celebration to a close. To add to the party's excitement, try the murder mystery parties games. It is reasonably priced here. They are enthralling and provide a diverse range of narratives.
