{BABY SHOWER} Chanel Baby Shower

{Preface} I have been looking forward to this feature and so before I began writing I headed over to the Momma-to-be's website to get more insight on the guest of honor. Before my browser could load the page I was imersed in beautiful French music and amazing imagery of perfectly done makeup. All that was missing was a warm croissant, a cafĂ© and well Paris, but I digress, as the French song played I began this feature and gushed over the baby shower pictures captured by Alice Hu and as if they weren't amazing enough without the soundtrack they came to life while "La vie en rose" played in the background. So as unconventional as this may be I suggest you open this website {make sure your volume is on} and proceed to the rest of this feature.
Cue the romantic French music and let me introduce you to Kacee. Coco Chanel once said  "A girl should be two things: classy and fabulous" and Kacee is just that, so this being Kacee's second little girl a traditional baby shower was out of the question. She didn't want a traditional shower of games, gifts and a formal sit down, she envisioned an inmate gathering of close friends, finger food and great conversation. The design concept behind this gem of a baby shower was soft pinks & grays, Kacee wanted "girly, frilly and flirty!" and "uber chic". Blair Britt, of Blair Britt Wedding & Design, brought the vision to life and created Chanel No. 2 "Peyton, Sweet little girl, No. 2." The Chanel theme was carried out with the most amazing perfume bar, where guests were able to design their own custom scent {how's that for a shower favor}. Picture perfect details created by Blair included crepe paper ruffles which embellished the floral containers, an ornate frame painted a soft gray which boasted a mock perfume label {later to be used in Peyton's nursery}, a white and blush pink striped backdrop that hung behind the Peyton frame and helped provide a backdrop for the food station. And how can you have a shower like this without some sparkle...dangling Swarovski chandelier crystals adorned the champagne and french lemonade bottles and glittered clothespins held up the various signs and were a simple yet effective DIY project, but the brightest sparkle was the one in Kacee's eyes as she glowed in her Badgley Mischka dress from Rent the Runway.
So, without further ado sit back and get lost in all of the loveliness that was Kacee's Baby Shower, captured by the incredibly talented Alice Hu.
