{NURSERY) Baby Charlotte's Charming and Sentimental Nursery

I just adore when a nursery becomes so much more than just a room...when it becomes a refection of the parents and their families, when it's filled with family heirlooms, loving gifts and handmade touches. Astrid of {a}strid Photography and her husband Chris created a charming oasis for Baby Charlotte filled with love and sentiment.

Here are some details from Astrid...............

Touches of us are strewn throughout. images of our travels, favorite quotes, childhood books, and sentimental items. the dresser was chris’ from when he was a baby, and the shelf above it was built by his grandfather. a picture of my dad from his travels hangs with all the images of ours, and the blanket was a gift from my cousin which is my absolute favorite. the mobile was hand made for her nursery by one of our best friends and i love that her daughter hand picked the sticks from the woods herself for it and helped to cover it in shimmery gold. the crib was the last gift from my dad before he passed away, and the floors were installed by us ourselves. a lot of love and tears went into building this nursery for this girl we hadn’t even met yet, and i am just in love with it.
